Julia Green

PhD Students

Julia is a fourth year graduate student, third year PhD, looking at the seasonal and interannual variability of the carbon, energy and water surface fluxes using remote sensing data. She came into the program as an IGERT Fellow, and has since been awarded a NASA NESSF fellowship to continue her work in our group. Prior to coming to Columbia she graduated from Tufts University with a BS in Civil Engineering, gained practical experience working as a Water Resources engineer for several Environmental Consulting firms, and was an active member of Engineers without Borders. Outside of work, Julia enjoys biking, hiking, swimming and travel.
